BIO

Sarah was born in Tucson, AZ and grew up south of Houston, TX. She’s lived and travelled all over the United States and the world. She’s been making art since she was about four or five years old. Her parents sent her to local art and craft classes in the summer and she excelled in all art courses throughout her childhood and academia. In 2005: Having always had a fondness for wildlife and nature; Sarah started a wildlife biology degree in Colorado Springs, CO. She soon realized that despite good grades, art was more her calling and she decided to use her passion for nature to influence her artwork. In 2013, Sarah received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio art (painting) from Texas State University, San Marcos, TX. Her thesis entailed hand painted ceramic sculptures. Since graduation, Sarah has travelled the world: writing, photographing, and studying-(art, culture, and wildlife). If you visit her travel blog(in progress), you’ll see work inspired by her travels. In 2015 she worked with Zapow gallery in Asheville, NC and Sarah currently lives in Jacksonville FL and focuses on refining her artwork, teaching, and traveling.
